It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Edward Washburn of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Edward Washburn and Patricia Vivian Evitt Bunn. He is survived by: his wife Chassity Speight Washburn; his children, Zach Washburn and Hannah Washburn; his sister Ellie Smith (Chad) of Oakboro; and his stepfather Richard Bunn of Albemarle.
