She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Melvin Kennedy; her siblings, Ramelle Baucom, Clara Baucom and Glenn Baucom (Eunice); her nephew Roger Dale Baucom; and her sisters, Rachel Smith (Cecil) of Concord, Helen Austin (Conwell) of Oakboro, Mary Jewel Brooks (Peary Neal) of Marshville, Partricia Ann Kennedy of Locust and Cecil E. Parker (Glenn E. Hinson).
She is survived by: her son Donnie Ray Kennedy (Tammy King); her grandson Jamie Lee Kennedy of Charlotte; her sister Ruby Baucom Parker of Marshville; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Kennedy Hinson of Locust and Elizabeth Kennedy Frey (Lyn) of Monroe.
