He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ellis; his children, Veronica Harmon (Brian) of Concord, NC and Edwin Harding Ellis, IV (Carolyn) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Harmon, Audree Harmon, Zac Ellis and Cameron Ellis; and his brother Paul Ellis.
