He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Austin and Thelma Pauline Baucom Austin; and his siblings, Kenneth Austin, Sue Austin and Cassilene Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Austin; his children, Mike Austin (Vicky) of Oakboro, NC and Tammy Austin Mills (Dennis) of Oakboro, NC; his grandchildren, Justin Austin (Denise), Kyle Johnson (Sierra), Jennifer Foust (Harrison) and Jordyn Austin; his stepgrandchildren, Denika Coley (Brian), Jennifer Rodriguez (Jesus) and Christina Eury (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Timothy Austin, Cheyenne McKinney, Brayden McKinney, Matthew Veal, Kaidyn Johnson, Mason Veal, Rhyker Johnson and Maverick Foust; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tommy Austin, Jonathan Austin, Sophia Austin, Lilly Austin, Brayden Eury, Bryson Eury, Hunter Coley (Allison), Hailey Coley and Arya; and his siblings, Peggy Baucom of Marshville, NC, Shirley York (Dwight) of Midland, NC, Jerry Austin of Marshville, NC, Steve Austin (Denise) of Marshville, NC, Eddie Austin (Susie) of Marshville, NC. and Kathy Austin.
