She was predeceased by: her parents, James Labon Little and Bessie Mae Swaringen Little; her husband Nathaniel Bradford Whitley; her daughter Debbie W. Allen; and her great grandchild Lindsey W. Efird.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald B. Whitley (Jane), Aloma Whitley and Janet Whitley; and her siblings, Bud Little and Wincie Smith. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
