She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Medlin and Pearl Medlin; and her brothers, Hoyle Medlin, Kenneth Medlin and Terry Medlin.
She is survived by: her husband Everette Thomas of Oakboro, NC; her children, Donald Thomas (Cheryl) of Monroe, NC, Ronald Thomas (Lisa) of Monroe, NC, Bobby Thomas (Beverly) of Marshville, Jennifer Whitley (Bradly) of Oakboro and Tommy Thomas (Sherrie) of Monroe, NC; her grandchildren, Jessica Thomas, Tyler Westall (Jordyn), Brian Thomas, Brittany Marshall (TJ), Michael Thomas (Mackenzie), Spencer Thomas (Garrett Cox), Alyssa Thomas, Jaden Whitley, Gracie Whitley, Morgan Foxx (Jon) and Andrea Knight (Marshall); her great grandchildren, Aria, Chandler, Scarlett, Chevy, Phoenix and Raylan; and her caregivers, Denna Deere, Crystal Thomas, Doris, Terri Howard, Connie Thomas and Judy Moore.
