He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davis Springer and Bessie Mae Tucker Springer. He is survived by: his wife Judie Ann Thomas Springer; his children, Lloyd Springer of Oakboro, Wayne Springer of Midland, Tony Springer (Kristi) of Oakboro, Phillip Springer (Amy) of Oakboro and Joyce Owens (TJ) of Ashboro; and his sister Jo Ann Springer of Albemarle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
