She was predeceased by: her parents, Irwin Smith and Dorothy Doby Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Thomas; her son Wayne Thomas (Alyssa); her grandchildren, Raegan Huneycutt (Daniel) and Masden Thomas (Chloe Graham); her great grandchild Declan Huneycutt; and her sister Dolly Tucker.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the BIG Lick Baptist Church (626 Big Lick Rd, Oakboro, NC 28129). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Samaritan's Purse hurricane relief.
