He is survived by: his wife Frances L. Efird; his son Robert Ryan Efird (Jennifer) of Clayton, AL; his grandchildren, Bryson and Maddy Efird of Mount Pleasant; his pet Otis; and his siblings, Ross Efird (Peggy) of Locust, Mike Efird of Locust and Carolyn Little (Alan) of Oakboro.
