It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Thomas of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Vance and Lizzie Bowers Thomas; his brothers, Malvin and Craven Thomas; and his nephews, Steven Brinson and Lynn Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shanna Thomas Plyler (Gary) of Oakboro and Jenni Thomas Foxx (Robbie) of Oakboro; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Plyler Flora (Jimmy), Kristian Gray Barbee (John) and Kennedy Foxx; his great grandchild Kamryn Flora; his siblings-in-law, Sherri Little and Bobby Little (Wanda); his niece Hannah Blalock; and also Bladyn.
