He is survived by: his children, Walter Scott of Oakboro, Robbie William Taylor of Oakboro, Lorrie Hatley (Doyle) of New London and Marci Collins (John) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Allie, Tripp, Mac, Brinley Collins, Kayla Simpson and Everett Hatley.
