She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Alexander Whitley and Ruth Blondell Whitley; and her brother Ernest Alexander Whitley, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Reginald Doran Hill of Oakboro, NC; and her nephew Adam Aleron Whitley of Asheville, NC..
