Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anabel Williams Speight of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 79, on November 18, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Williams and Villi Anne Little Williams; and her sister Gwendola Williams Willis Fowler. She is survived by: her husband James Edward Speight Sr.; her sons, James E. "Chip" Speight (Amber) of Oakboro and Bryan Evans Speight (Candra) of Edwardsville, IL; her sister Loudivene Eubanks of Oakboro; and her grandchildren, Trey Speight, Dalton Speight, Drew Speight, Kendyl Speight, Jayde Speight, Adelyn Speight and Carissa Speight.

Memorials may be made to the Coble-Teeter Project, C/O Oakboro Museum or to the West Stanly FCA Scholarship Fund at West Stanly High School.
