He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Williard and Viola Jones; his grandparents, Johnny Nelson Williard and Bertha Smith Williard; his stepmother Mintoria Williard; and his siblings, Bill Williard, J. W. Williard, Paul Williard, Marie Morris, Janie Lee and Bertha Carlyle.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann East Williard; his son Dale Williard; his grandson Joshua Williard; his great grandchild Landon Williard; his sister-in-law Jackie Williard; and his caregivers, Rosie, Francine and Sylvia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kernersville Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
