It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allen Cheney of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John William Cheney. He is survived by: his wife Penny Renee Vance; and his siblings, Jonathan Cheney (Ethel) and Cecelia Haxton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
