He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard James Fields and Ruth Elizabeth Ackerman; and his brother Raymond Fields. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Finney Fields; his children, James Arthur Fields (Stephanie), Carol A. Fields, Christine Durant (Kevin) and Karen Fields; his grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Kristy Farmer, Adam Rash, Mitchell Fields, Jory Rash and Nicole Wade; and his sisters, Helen Kay Spooner and Bonnie Bartosek. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
