It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Duckworth Harwell (Oak Ridge, North Carolina), who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Frank Duckworth, Howard Duckworth, Max Duckworth, Bob Duckworth, Millard Duckworth and Ruby Harwell; her daughter Caroline Reavis; her great grandchild Paxton Parlier; and also Gladys.
She is survived by: her spouse Bill Harwell; her children, Billy Harwell of Connelly Springs, David Harwell (Janice) of Connelly Springs, Judy Smith of Chicago, IL, Becky Walker (Tim) of Connelly Springs and Cindy Marshburn (Bill) of Connelly Springs; her brothers, Joe Duckworth (Brenda) of Granite Falls, Jay Harold Duckworth (Nancy) of Hickory and Paul Duckworth (Judy) of Grand Praire; and her grandchildren, Terri Hartley, Christy Coppage, Scott Harwell, Jennifer VanHorn, Jason VanHorn, Megan Marshburn and Josh Marshburn.
