He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly A. Wentz (DeTurk); his parents, Edward L. Sr. Wentz and Evelyn Wentz (Kulp); and his sister Shirley Harner. He is survived by: his children, Edward L. Wentz, III (Nancy Goldfinch) of Oak Ridge, NC and Beth A. Freed (Gary) of Perkasie, PA; his grandchildren, Alex E. Freed (Kristianna), Jennifer D. Shelly (Christopher) and Sydney A. Wentz; his great grandchildren, Holly, Bria, Calvin, Hannah Freed, Lincoln and Miles Shelly; and his child Oak Ridge Methodist Church.
