It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Mae Marcus of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hinton and Florence Hinton (Latham); her granddaughter Holly; and her siblings, Raymond (Bud), Marvin, Elsie and Judy.
She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Marcus; her daughters, Denise Marcus of Greensboro and DeAnn Marcus (Jimmy Vaughn) of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Mike Becker, Brian Becker (Vicki), Jeremy Becker (Jenni), Melinda Becker and Heather Fisher (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, BreAnna, DeAnna, Josephine, Nathan, Noah, Wyatt, Lydia, Maliya, Brixton, Keila, Kierston, Braydon, Isabella and Kristen; her great great grandchildren, McKinzie, Grayson and Leo; and her brother Richard Hinton.
Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church in Conway, Iowa or Fountain of Life Lutheran Church in Kernersville, NC.
