He was predeceased by: his parents, Claxton James and Wilma Ellen Harrell King; his former wife Dianne Binkley King; and his daughter Erin Blair King. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane King; his daughter Stacy Stargardt; his son-in-law Sabian Stargardt; his son Bryan King; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Boss King; and his pet Chloe.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gideon Grove United Methodist Church (2865 Gideon Grove Church Rd, Stokesdale, NC 27357).
