He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. Joyner, Sr. and Lena Foy Joyner; his children, Roy Vance Joyner Jr. and Tina Joyner Lewis; his grandson Anthony Joyner; his siblings, Francis Joyner Ellington and Clyde E. Joyner Jr.; and his sister-in-law Doraleen Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Todd Joyner; his daughter Michelle Joyner Khalil (Mohammed); his son-in-law Larry Lewis; his daughter Amy Broome (Greg); his grandchildren, Amber Lewis, Kiya Khalil and Hana Khalil; his great grandchildren, Serenity Joyner, London Joyner, Alyssa Lewis-Dunlap and Remedi Bass; his siblings, Robert Joyner, Alfred Joyner (Debbie) and Nancy Carroll; and the mother of his children Doris Knight.
