He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfonso Curtis and Mary June Curtis; and his son-in-law Michael G. Buhl. He is survived by: his wife Anettia McCurry Curtis; his brother James Curtis (Shirley Curtis) of Clyde, NC; his daughter Tamerha Curtis Buhl of Oak Island, NC; and his grandchildren, Shannon Dahmer of Wilmington, NC and Christopher Dahmer (Jerry Hamm) of Alamogordo, NM..
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Main Street Baptist Church (126 N Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Burnsville Baptist Church.
