He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J Ritter and Winifred David Ritter; and his siblings, Joel Ritter, Babette Greenwood and Carol Ewell.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ritter; his daughter Sharon Ritter; his siblings, David Ritter and Sharon Quidas (Wayne); and his brother-in-law Arte Greenwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306.
