He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Blackmon and Judy Blackmon of Heath Springs, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Blackmon of Oak Island; his children, Paige Morgan (Ryan Morgan) of Southport and Hunter Blackmon of Oak Island; his niece Ashlyn Boykin (Brandyn) of Lake Wateree; his brother Jeff; his sister-in-law Leanne Crouch of Oak Island; his nephew Brandon Crouch (Josie Moll); his niece Keri Brinson (Jeb); his great-nephew Beau of Southport; his siblings, Brett Blackmon and Janet Blackmon Morgan; and his nephew Aaron Blackmon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Matthew's Ministry in Rhett's honor and mailed to PO Box 10761 Southport, NC 28461.
