It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Lockamy Sandy (Oak Island, North Carolina), who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Smith Owen and Wesley Lockamy; her husband Manly Moore Sandy, Jr.; her son Lloyd Allen Sandy; her granddaughters, Michelle Sandy and Ronda A. Dalton; her son-in-law Frank Ayers; and her brother Harry Owen.

She is survived by: her children, Sidney Moore Sandy (Dale) of Indian Trial, NC and Gail Ayers of Pulaski, VA; her grandchildren, Michael M. Sandy, Lori S. Pierce and Lynett A. Cruise; and her brother Paul Owen of Fayetteville, NC.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
