It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise McDonald Beyer of Oak Island, North Carolina, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman McDonald and Nelda McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Paul Beyer; her daughters, Stephanie Armstrong and Lauren Mitchell; her stepchildren, Stephanie Kocyba (Tom), Paul Beyer, III (Pam) and Eric Beyer (Paula); her grandchildren, Caroline, Chloe, Abygaiel, Corey, Cayte, Clara Ann, Hannah, Patrick, Cody and Auston; and her siblings, Jeanie Harrison (Tom), Evelyn McDonald and Bo McDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Generations Church, 4019 Executive Park Blvd SE, Southport, NC 28461. Denise had a passion for single mothers and any donations will be used for single mother ministries.
