She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain Floyd Fletcher Grubbs and Sargeant Blanche Grubbs; her husband Donald Welch (Don); and her brother Walter Grubbs. She is survived by: her sister Mary Ann Grubbs Fox (Ed); her brother-in-law David Welch; her sons, Brian Welch (Brenda) and Jeremy Welch (Angel); and her grandchildren, Kate, Kelsie and Jakob. She is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews; and 10 grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia, NC.
