She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel "Lefty" Johnson and Marianna B. Johnson; her sister Mare Johnson; and her brother-in-law Terry Duncan. She is survived by: her children, Donnie (Heidi Lee) of Newport, NC and Kim (Tommy Havelos) of Todd, NC; her grandchildren, Nicky Lee, Gabbie Lee and Xander Havelos; and her sisters, Chris (Richard Noecker) of Southport, NC and Vicki Duncan of Southport, NC. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cathy's name to Medi Home Health & Hospice of Boone, NC, or St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Beaufort NC.
