It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha M. Cox (Oak Island, North Carolina), who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter William Crump and Cora Spakes Crump; her husband Clarence Cox; her daughter Patricia Lambert; and her grandson James Cox.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Cox (Loretta) and David Cox; and her grandchildren, Scotty Benfield, Tina Lambert, Donna Saltz, Daniel Cox, Willie Cox, Waylon Cox, Travis Cox and Joe Helms. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
