He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Theresa; his daughter Theresa Mary Staggs; his brother Joseph Casella; and his parents, Joseph Casella and Rose Casella.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Casella-Epps of Oak Island, Alphonse Casella, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Michael Casella of Indian Trail, NC.; his grandchildren, Christopher, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Miranda and Cameron; and his brother Edward Casella. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
