We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2025, at the age of 69, Samuel DuBose Jr. (Norwood, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Irvin Sr. and Barbara Ann Beeman DuBose; and his brother Scott DuBose. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Crump DuBose; his children, Nathan DuBose (Lindsey) of Marshville, NC, Kyle DuBose (Lili) of Lancaster, SC, Kurt DuBose (Jessica) of Supply, NC, Blake Walter (Adrienne) of Atlanta, GA and Katie Huneycutt (Wil) of Albemarle, NC.; his grandchildren, Grace, Ellie, Josie, Ava, Holden, Josh, Carson, Logan, Kamdyn, Karmyn and Katelyn; and his siblings, David DuBose (Sonia), Doug DuBose, Dorian Herbert (Lance) and Philip Victor (Mary). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Homes (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the South Stanly Baptist Church (40907 S Stanly School Rd, Norwood, NC 28128). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
