She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Swaringen and Leriean Swaringen; her husband Lee E. Lewis; her sisters, Jerlean S Edwards, Ollie Swaringen, Brenda K. Swaringen and Daisy Mclendon; and her sisters-in-law, Gail Swaringern and Vickie Kendall.
She is survived by: her children, Aldonso Lewis (Latwanya), Lamond Lwis, Monte Lewis, Shawn Lewis (Precious), Regina Lewis, Laquesha Lewis and Erica Lewis; her grandchildren, Marquese, Demetrius (Tyon), Shakeera, Marquel, Tyreke, Dymetria, Essence, Shawn, Marquez, Shammah, Issac, Heaven and August; her great grandchildren, Desire, Demetrius (Tyrique), King, Raheem, Ava, Issac and Mahir; and her siblings, Debra Swaringen, John H Kendall and Willie Doug "Jencie" Swaringen.
