He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Alexander and Flonnie'Pete'Lee Hinson; his granddaughter Cortney Furr; and his brothers, Larry Hinson and Joe Hinson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Grissom Hinson; his daughters, Sheila Furr (Johnny Dial) of Polkton and Sandy Hatley (Joe) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandsons, Cody Hatley (Brittany), Brandon Furr (Kaitlin) and Josh Hatley; his great grandchildren, Braylen and Lane Furr; and his sister Mitzi Hartsell (Tommy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
