He is survived by: his wife Margaret Garmon; his daughters, Joey Poplin (Mickey), Wendy Eudy (Alan), Christy NeCaise (Brian) and Lesley Smith; his grandchildren, Bobby Poplin, Tyler Poplin, Chase Eudy, Cassie Eudy, Shana Helms, Sydnee Helms, Joshua Smith, Michael Bailey and Meghan Hardy; and his siblings, Roy Garmon, Juanita Yow and Erma Deal.
