He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilkerson and Eunice Allred Wilkerson; his daughter Heather Elizabeth Wilkerson; and his sister Barbara Wilkerson Earnhardt. He is survived by: his son Pate Wilkerson Jr. of Albemarle; his brothers, Gilbert Wilkerson (Tammy) of Landis and Carl "Nookie" Wilkerson (Kay) of Concord; and also Elizabeth Coley Brooks of Albemarle. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
