She was predeceased by: her parents, Bedford L. Shears and Helen Sprouse Shears; and her husband Roy. She is survived by: her son Glenn Humbert (Meleta) of Shallotte; her stepchildren, Melvin Deal of Laurinburg and Sandra Deal Carter (Edward) of Georgetown, SC.; her grandchildren, Katelyn Rawson (George), Alex Humbert, Jacob Deal and Brain Carter; and her great grandchild Audrey Glenn Rawson.
