He is survived by: his children, Matt Thompson (Kelly) of Thomasville and Kelly Thompson Caudle (Dustin) of Norwood; his grandchildren, Hunter, Zane Thompson, Kendrix and Ian Caudle; his brothers, Richard Thompson (Barbara) of Oakboro and John Thompson (Randi) of Oakboro; his close friend Beverly Maby; and his pet Dixie.
