He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Howell (Beverly) of Huntersville and Lynn Howell (Annette) of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Caleb Howell (Brittany), Gage Howell (Miranda), Mandi Howell and Gatlin Howell (Blair); his great grandchild Eden Howell; and his brother Kenneth Howell (Sue).
