With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Simpson (Norwood, North Carolina), born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on February 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronnie Mitchell Poplin and Shelia Carpenter Poplin. She is survived by: her son Adam Simpson (Heidi) of Aquadale; her grandsons, Vance Mitchell and Silas Thomas Simpson; her siblings, Jeff Kendall (Debbie) of Concord, Lea Blackwell of Albemarle, Tim Poplin (Elsa) of Norwood and Christy Bogle (Brad) of Albemarle; and her close friend Charles Lamb of Norwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
