She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lefler and Nellie Lefler; her husband Walter Lee Morton; her children, Ricky Lee Morton and Karen Morton Simpson; her grandsons, Richard Lee Morton and James Kevin Simpson; and her great grandchild Dalton Reid Tarlton.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Patricia Simpson Tarlton (Rodger Lee Tarlton); her great grandchild Shana Leigh Tarlton; and her children-in-law, Gail Smith Morton and James Reid Simpson.
