He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Faye Poplin Pope of Norwood; his children, Diane Talbert (Chuck) of Charleston, SC, Amy Rush (Tim) of Greenville, SC and David Hurst (Hilary) of Greenville, SC; his brother Voit Hurst (Patsy) of Greenville, SC; his aunt Brenda Barkley (Bob) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Dalton Talbert, Laney Talbert, Melissa Hurst Coleman, Claire Hurst Epps, Braxton Ricker, Megan Theisen and Max Rush. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
