He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Vance and Maudie Scarboro Aldridge; and his siblings, Jack, Robert, Reece, Joe Aldridge and Ottie Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith Aldridge; his daughters, Susan Aldridge Barbee (David) of Oakboro, Debbie Aldridge Kimrey (Tony) of Norwood and Linda Aldridge Lisk (Travis) of Norwood; and his brother Buddy Aldridge (Bonnie) of Norwood.
