He was predeceased by: his father Layton Bleachman Preslar, Sr.; his wife Andrea Broome Preslar; and his sister Libby Underwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Preslar Hathcock of Norwood and Sharon Preslar of Shalotte; his grandchildren, Sommer Morgan (Adam), Chris Lee (Kristen), Ricky Hathcock (Jaclyn) and A. J. Baskins; and his godsons, Drayton and Camden Diggs (Beverly Johnson). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
