She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Cooper and Mary Luna Honeycutt Cooper; her husband Paul Smith; her son Richard Griffin; and her siblings, Flonnie, Roy, Campbell, Georgia, Flossie, Ann, Lottie and Nell.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Griffin Summers (Rick) of Charlotte; and her granddaughters, Meredith Summers of Raleigh and Anna Summers of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Porter Baptist Church (16562 US-52 A, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
