With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Faye Pope of Norwood, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Faye left this world on March 27, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bryant and Pearl Virginia Mabry Poplin; her son David Pope; and her siblings, Betty Jean Poplin, Marie Huneycutt, Bryce, Max, John, Ray and Rodney Poplin.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Pope, Jr. of Norwood and Lloyd Pope (Pat) of Norwood; her grandchildren, Kyle Pope, Chase Pope (Amanda), Calyn Pope (Caitlin), Cody Pope, Mackenzie Pope, Devan Pope and Alyssa Pope; and her sister Diane Howell (Bob) of Durham. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Homes (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Service Chapel (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128).
