Eugene Watkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2020, at the age of 82, Eugene Watkins of Norwood, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Slade Watkins and Wilma Willoughby Watkins; his brothers, Ervin and S. L. Watkins; his son-in-law James A. Owens; and his sons, Ricky D. Owens, James C. Brown and Christopher Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Brown, Wilma Owens, Eugene Brown and Lloyd Brown (Brenda); his sister Eleanor W. Carpenter; his sister-in-law Betty Lou Watkins; his close friends, George Deberry (Sonny), Will Watkins and Melvin Watkins; and his friends, Gayle Clark, A. J. Hall, Donnie and Ketric Lilly. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
