He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lee Sasser (Frances Bowles) and Doris Bost Whitley; and his son-in-law Danny Gardner Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jerri Mabry Sasser; his children, Sherry Pruitt of Norwood, Dwayne'Dab'Sasser of Norwood, Dink Sasser of Norwood, Kim Sasser of Norwood and Kristy Sasser Gardner of Norwood; his grandchildren, Destiny (Brad), Cheyanne, Hannah, Chance, Kenny, Calee, Dallas, Jazlynn, Aubrey, Silas, Samantha and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Emryn, Kylee, Zandyn, Hazley, Sydalynn and Sebastian; his siblings, Beverly Sasser Mabry of Norwood, Scotty Sasser of Mt. Gilead and Tommy Sasser of Mt. Gilead; and his father-in-law Roy Lee Mabry Sr.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
