He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Henry and Virginia Kimrey Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Cecile Springer Bowers; his children, Terry Dennis (Shelia), Dale Dennis and Donna Byerly (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Erin Beth Pinkston, Jesse Garmon (Tatiana), Mollie Dennis, Maxine Dennis, Clyde Dennis, Halle Allen and Emily Dennis. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Homes (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Silver Springs Baptist Church (16072 NC-138, Norwood, NC 28128).
