He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Burleson and Chloris Huneycutt Burleson; and his brother Cleo Burleson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Harwood Burleson; his daughters, Cheri Lindsay (John) of Kannapolis and Natalie Furr of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Alyssa Lindsay, Jessica Odom (James), Isaac Furr (Elizabeth) and Kyle Furr; and his great grandchildren, Raidyn Lindsay Cruz, Waylon Odom and Amelia Odom.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cottonville Baptist Church (4888 Plank Rd, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
