He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Herbert Gragg Sr. and Ethel Louise Thompson Gragg; his wife Barbara Gragg; his stepmother Mary Alice Gragg; and his brother Lohman Gragg.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce G. Melton (Jim) of New London, NC and Mary G. Blalock of Albemarle, NC; and his stepsiblings, Lisa H. Aycock (Eddie), Dennis Helms (Barbara) and Toby Helms (Debby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
